Volunteering

General Volunteering

The Community Hub is supported by a small number of staff and a large band of volunteers, providing a friendly, welcoming space for everyone. As we grow and develop, there will be opportunities to volunteer on either a regular, occasional, or one-off basis for larger projects that need extra help. It could be anything from greeting people as they arrive in the Hub, making tea and coffee, DIY, administration support or digging in our garden.

Some volunteer roles, especially those interacting with other people, will require a DBS check. Other roles may require basic levels of training, for example food hygiene, safeguarding or first aid. We will arrange this for you if we feel it is necessary.
